How we work
We work in an integrative way, drawing on whichever approaches best serve you rather than fitting people into a single model. We draw on relational, somatic, cognitive, systemic and creative approaches. What stays constant is our belief that the therapeutic relationship is the single most important ingredient in therapeutic change. The approaches we use matter — but the relationship holds everything.
We work with individuals, couples, and groups. We offer standard sessions, EMDR intensives, and a structured year-long programme for people who want therapy with a clear beginning, middle and end.
The practice is based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire and we also see clients online via Zoom.
We offer a free initial conversation of around 15 minutes — a no-obligation chance to meet and decide together whether working with one of us would be helpful.
Sessions with Colette are charged at £80 and sessions with Ariyana at £120.
Specialist work — including EMDR intensives, couples intensives, and bespoke programmes are priced separately, with full details on our Services page.
Sessions are paid online in advance. If you are unwaged or struggling financially, please contact us.
We understand life happens. If you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as you can. Cancellations of less than 24 hours are chargeable.
